Just a quick word of thanks to everyone who came along to the first WexWorlds Sci-Fi and Fantasy Festival.
I was tremendously pleased to see so many people of a variety of ages enjoying themselves, whther it be serious discussions about literature or making sabres and battling as Robots, it was brilliant to see so many people get involved.
I am especially grateful to all the local business’, hotels, bookshops, clothes shops and the Library who all came together to support the festival, the diversity of venues adds to the special feeling of a community festival.
So much encouraging feedback has galvanized plans already for next year, initially we intended to review and consider, but the demand for more was surprising, and we intend to run another WexWorlds festival next November, so please put November 26th to the 28th in your diaries.
